IN REGARDS TO

Estelle and Christophe welcome you to their gîte L'Edelweiss.
We take the greatest care in your welcome, your comfort, also to offer you a hearty and quality cuisine, homemade with local products.
Located in the center of the lively village of Abriès, on the GR 58 of the Queyras Regional Natural Park and at an altitude of 1500 m, it is the starting point for many beautiful discoveries.

Some important information and recommendations :

- The health pass will be requested on your arrival as long as the government requires it;

- We are committed to a zero waste objective, remember to take your reusable bags, thermos, water bottles, cutlery and boxes for your picnics;

- For stays, a deposit of 30% is required. It is to be paid when booking. We return the down payments in the event of cancellation due to health restrictions;

- The slippers are a must in the house: no hiking or ski boots shoes. We lend them (washed and disinfected) in case of forgetting;

- For 1 night, we ask that the sleeping bags are not taken out of the bags. We provide disposable sheets.

Having dinner

Dinner is served at 7 p.m. for all. A generous and family cuisine composed of a soup, a main course, salad, Queyras cheese and a dessert.

Fresh fruits and vegetables; everything is homemade with Queyras products. Half-board is compulsory.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

On the menu: bread, brioches, sports granola and jams (homemade). Cereals, honey ...

Bar and terrace

At your disposal: in summer, a large south-facing terrace for your refreshments, aperitifs or coffee; in winter, the bar (television and stove), for hot drinks and other aperitifs.

Sherpa Point

Picnic

Packed lunches and other homemade sandwiches are made to order the day before before 5 p.m.

On the menu: homemade salad, Queyras cheese, homemade bread, fruit paste, compote and fruit.

Room service

In Stage 1 night formula, blankets and 1 disposable sheet are offered. Supplement for towels.

For Stay 2 nights or more, sheets, blankets and towels are provided at no extra charge.

Tours and detours of Queyras

The paths of Queyras will make you travel in a thousand landscapes, according to your desires and at your own pace. There is something for everyone: from easy hikes to do with children (Miroir Lake, Soullier Lake ...) to the most demanding for the most enduring (Col Fromage, Lac de Lago Verde ...)

Alpine skiing and Nordic skiing

Haut-Guil alpine ski area: 21 km of slopes. Nordic skiing: 39 km of slopes.
Thanks to the meteorological phenomenon "Return from the East" (very heavy snowfall), the Abriès resort will delight nature skiing enthusiasts, both in cross-country skiing and ski touring.
